2010 Chili Contest Results

In the professional category, the popular vote for best overall chili went to American Flatbread at the Marble Works.  To see results in the professional and amateur categories by type of chili check the Middlebury Winter Carnival and Chili Contest page on this site.

Did you forgot to get your 2010 Chili Contest t-shirt because you were too busy tasting chili?  No worries, you can still buy one at the new Skihaus of Vermont, on the corner of Main Street and Merchants Row!

The new Better Middlebury Partnership website is under construction. All members will receive notification when new portions of the site are completed. It will be worth waiting for!

More Historic Streetlights Coming

The Better Middlebury Partnership secured another grant to help Middlebury make its next installation of historic streetlights.  This installation will extend the fixtures from the Cross Street Bridge (currently under construction) to and around the Main Street Rotary that will be built in 2010.

The 2010 Middlebury Winter Carnival and Chili Contest was bigger and better than the original event which was voted one of the ten best winter events by the Vermont Chamber of Commerce after its debut in 2009.   The major attraction was the community-wide professional and amateur chili contest on the sidewalks of the historic downtown.

Popular vote determined the contest winners in a variety of categories.  Best overall chili in 2010 was awarded to American Flatbread at the Marble Works.  Complete results are available at Middlebury Winter Carnival and Chili Contest.
