Better Middlebury Partnership Sponsored Events

The Better Middlebury Partnership brings three great events to the Middlebury community each year; Middlebury Winter Carnival and Chili Contest in February, The Middlebury Spooktacular in October and A Very Middlebury Christmas in December.

Winter Carnival and Chili Contest
The Middlebury Winter Carnival and Chili Contest is set for February 27, 2010, from 2 -4 PM.  The event was voted one of the ten best winter events by the Vermont Chamber of Commerce after its debut in 2009.

It features a community wide professional and amateur chili contest on the sidewalks of the historic downtown.  Popular vote determines the contest winners in a variety of categories.  Other seasonal activities take place throughout community including dog sled demonstrations and live music.  The event is intentionally scheduled to compliment Middlebury College’s Winter Carnival and the exciting NCAA athletic events associated with it.
